Mapping my Future Camp (Ages 10+)

Wednesday, August 15, 2018
1:00 pm3:00 pm

Students will create a personal map which reflects one's hopes, dreams and aspirations for the future. Basic cartography concepts will be explored such as the compass rose and legend, yet the "map" will reflect personal goals and how one expects to attain them. Students may explore several goals, yet they must list the steps needed to attain each one. There may be some "rainbow bridges"? We will begin with discussion and paper and pencil sketches. Media will include tag board, pencils, tempera paint and sharpies, all materials included. Class meets August 14-17, 2018 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, AND Friday) 1:00 – 3:00 pm

This workshop is appropriate for children ages 10+. $75 BRAHM members / $85 non-members.

Reservation and payment is required August 1, 2018. 12 Limited seats available per session. An 80% refund will be issued if participant cancels one week prior to the event. For cancellations made less than one week prior to the event, BRAHM will issue a refund IF the museum is able to fill the vacated spot.
