Special Events Internship
The Blowing Rock Art & History Museum is seeking applications for the Summer 2020 internship in Special Events.
The Special Events intern works closely with the Executive Assistant & Special Event Coordinator to plan, execute, and follow up on all summer special events at BRAHM. It is hands-on experience for those looking to pursue careers in event planning and hospitality management.
- Approximately 33 hrs/week expected
- May - August 2020 with exact begin/end dates TBD
- Includes modest stipend
- Required to attend key summer events on July 17th, August 21st, and August 22nd.

Photography & Promotions Internship
BRAHM is seeking a photography/videography & promotions intern for Summer 2020
Intern will work closely with the Marketing & Communications Director in planning and implementing the Museums communications strategy with a focus on capturing the museum's programming, exhibits, and events with photography and video. Intern will also assist with some brand management, public relations, social media, and email marketing. Interns will be challenged to grow their technical skills through the use of several marketing platforms such as FireSpring, MailChimp, and Buffer and their professionalism through interaction with other communications and museum professionals. This internship will be heavily focused on social media marketing and management. This is an unpaid internship.

Programs & Outreach Internship
The Blowing Rock Art & History Museum is seeking applications for Summer 2020 internships in Programs & Outreach.
Interns will work with the Programs & Outreach Director to gather information and create programs centered around current exhibits, topics, and events in the area as well as assist in the development of locally focused exhibits.

Exhibitions & Collections Internship
Our interns gain hands-on experience in the arts and history through constructive, educational projects at the Museum. Exhibitions & Collections interns work directly with artwork and artifacts in the galleries during exhibition changeovers, and also assist the Curator and Curatorial Assistant with organizing and maintaining objects in the museum's permanent collection. Interns also gain hands on experience with curatorial research and interpretation.

Education Center Internship
The Blowing Rock Art & History Museum is seeking applications for Summer 2020 internships in the Education Center.
The Education Center intern works closely with the Education Center Director to plan, staff, and follow up on all summer workshops, camps, and art-making events at BRAHM. The intern may also assist with lesson planning and teaching for youth programming. It is a hands-on experience for those looking to pursue careers in art or museum education, as well as event planning and hospitality management.
